About me!
Hi, I'm Jon Arild Tørresdal.
I work as Chief Architect for
CMA Contiki in Bergen,
Norway where I've
worked since 2003. I'm also the leader of
Norwegian .Net User Group (NNUG) in Bergen. Since 1999 I've been working on Microsoft
technology, mostly .Net. I'm an early adapter always looking for new ways to put
technology to use for the company I work for, at NNUG or just as an excuse to do
some coding at home. I also like to tell others about my findings and/or
experience while coding. If I find something new I just have to tell somebody,
and usually it's the guys at work that have to be my victims for the new "cool
feature in C#" or whatever. Sorry guys, I just can't help it <smile>. I'm also
fund of Agile development processes and especially Scrum. I've introduced CMA
Contiki to Scrum which we run very successfully today.
Except from work I am married to my beautiful wife, Gry Helene and we live together with our son
Jesper. I love good food and wine, especially red wine from northern Italy. Im trying to start
a collection, without any great luck so far :)
Hope you enjoy my blog!
